Bomber Jacket - Ted Baker // Sweater - Thrifted // Pinstriped Trousers - Zara // Sneakers - Nike Free Run

Fall is finally here and I've already done some damage today, at our local Flea Market (more on that later). Meanwhile I'm wearing my same old uniform, spicing it up a bit by adding some pinstripes.
Also, I must explain why I haven't been posting more often, simply because college has started, I moved to my grandparents and am now adapting to my new routine. Btw. my first work is to design two S/S outfits (men- or womenswear) and which better concept than sports/graphic? Lucky me!

Backpack - Eastpak // Dress - Zara // Sneakers - Nike Free Run 5.0

We can say this outfit pays homage to the amazing work of Francisco Costa as creative director for Calvin Klein - 10 years of pure genius. Nevertheless this was the little white dress I wore to my disastrous prom and the one I would love to wear without being worried about getting it dirty. As for this time I paired it with some sneakers and a black backpack, creating a contrast of styles, casual yet sophisticated. No one said I couldn't wear my prom dress with some Nikes and an Eastpak, right?

"Obsessing over Nike" would have been a great choice for the title as well. Since comfort is my number one priority, Nike sneakers always fulfill my needs dreams! After trying a few other brands and a pair of heavy, black Air Force I ended up choosing Pegasus.
As and addict to my Nike Free Run, I had to find a robust and simultaneously light pair matching my black, white and grey wardrobe. Turns out the change wasn't as drastic as it seemed and I have some new favorites to take out for a few rides downtown.

Corrosão Bucólica // 250x60x30cm

I've been a bit afraid of posting my final high school work - a sculpture made of wool and a few synthetic yarns - mainly because I'm so proud of it I don't want to sound cocky, but here it goes. The detailing, as you can see, is enormous; needless to say it took me one month to finish it, working non-stop from beginning to end (I even spent the night in school and lost track of all the times I had dinner in the cafeteria). For my surprise it was more than worth it, ending with a diploma for my maximum score at it. As for the sculpture, everything was handmade by me, honoring Portugal's traditions and therefore criticizing its lost due to our extremely industrialized world.

The reason why I'm posting this precious "little" thing today is because this blog started one year ago and has now reached 100 posts - not bad for a little hobby of mine. Hope you guys keep supporting what I do, like you have so far, and thank you for putting up with me for so long. More anniversaries to come!
