Beanie - H&M // Coat - Uterque // Blazer - Zara (Thrifted) // Turtleneck - Zara // Shopper - Zara // Trousers - Zara // Sneakers - Miguel Vieira (Vintage)

This was what I wore yesterday, but I only got the chance to post it today! The outfit is all about one of my new FleaMarket acquisitions: a nude vintage blazer from Zara. You might be wondering how much  I paid for it. Prepare your jaw, because it is about to drop! 2€, nothing more nothing less and it is as new as if I had bought it this season at Zara. As you might also know by now, I'm crazy about good bargains, therefore I couldn't be more pleased with this blazer. It is light as a feather and most important, it's incredibly versatile. Great to layer in the winter time, great for a night out in the summer and obviously adequate to the middle seasons such as Autumn and Spring.
Once again, here is the proof that shopping is about intelligence and searching for the right piece at the right price. Keep your eyes wide open and try to keep your wardrobe as neutral and basic as you can. You can't regret buying a basic and timeless piece, can you?

Faux Leather Perforated Jacket - Kate London // Sweater - Oysho // Skirt - Zara // Boots - Dr. Martens

If your first impression was "she looks like a nun", then let me tell you it was mine too. I would never try to look like one, it just happened because of the enormous and gorgeous black hoody combined with my precious little white sweater. This post is actually a bit ironic, because my religious believes are nun  none. Then again I think about Tisci's religious work and all of a sudden everything seems just right.

Now I have to go, a nuns' life can get pretty hectic! Happy Saturday!

(Collection here)

It's R.A.D H.O.U.R.A.N.I killing it! Sorry, I had to start this post by showing my enthusiasm! Now I will be honest with you guys, I'm not the biggest fan of couture, but I'm Rad's biggest fan for sure! Couture is this stereotyped fashion area, which you know is only suited (if so) for some kind of red carpet events or editorials. And for some reason designers tend to exaggerate and make over the top fairytale dresses. There are exceptions like Rad and Maison Martin Margiela, for example.

Still, what I admire the most about this collection is that it is an uncommon (and unexpected) couture, the tailoring, the craftsmanship and fabrics are exquisite as they have to be, but at the same time I can picture myself wearing every single look! Not to mention the genius layering only Yamamoto and Tisci can do as well. He's a serious perfectionist, thinking about the entrance with the masks, being cohesive with his unisex concept and mantaining his aesthetics. Rad is unique, standing out in an industry full of clichés and fashion houses which are successful because of their big names, not because the creative directors are particularly talented. So far I can't point out a single flaw in Hourani's work, just qualities and kick ass minimal collections and photographs! He sure makes some of the big names in the industry envy/ hate him with such a majestic talent. A black and white powerful statement!

"It was extravagant yet austere, minimalist but complex, black and white."

P.S.: He never studied fashion, now imagine if he had.

Is there a better way to start your day? Alexander Wang, photographer Steven Klein, creative director Pascal Dangin, stylist Patti Wilson, Spring 2013 RTW, 7 photos, THE best campaign I have seen in a long time (and I don't really pay that much attention to campaigns)! The Seven Wonders of the World should be reconsidered after seeing this masterpiece created by three huge masters from the fashion world!
I still can't believe my eyes when I look at such a strong statement, such raw beauty, these photos give me a sense of natural woman power! And the poses, faces and attitude…. the model nailed it, I don't even recognize her name, but I will be looking for Malgosia Bela (belíssima!) from now on.
Alexander keeps wowing us with such talent, can't wait to see the revolution he's starting at Balenciaga! Start the countdown.

Have a great Sunday! x

Coat - Zara // Jumper - Thrifted // Oversized T-Shirt - Next // Skirt - Self-made // Platform Shoes - Marques' Almeida

These photos are "old", from more than one month ago, I would say. Since I'm in bed with the flu and can't really go outside to take new photos in this rainy weather, I decided to show you this outfit. I never published these photos, because I thought I looked really awful in them. Opinions change, we change and learn to accept ourselves. Now I look at them with a different vision, a more mature, pure and confident one, and I have to admit, I'm really pleased with the layering (oh, and I miss the sunny weather!).

Coat - Zara (old) // Oversized Dress - Cos (old) // Biker shorts - Mango + D.I.Y. // Oxfords - Eureka

This is the perfect lazy and laid-back outfit for someone who has woken up 5 minutes before leaving the house! Sometimes you wake up feeling ridiculously light, like floating, for no reason at all and I guess today was one of those days, 'cause I literally danced through my wardrobe to pick this outfit. This feeling of liberty and comfort translated to the photos, in which I also danced, moved, spinned around and gave my boyfriend/ photographer a big pain in the back as he was trying to capture it!

Hope your eyes dance through all these subtle photos as well!

Coat - Uterque // Jumper - Next // Skirt-trousers - Zara // Clutch - Women'secret // Chelsea Boots - Oysho

More photos than usual, yes! Unusual is always welcome. And these photos came out specifically great, a bit awkward I might also say! The reason might be my personal awkwardness, I hate posing, don't really have the talent for it, so I just stand there and wait for some kind of higher force to help me! Thank (whatever) God for all the help I've been given. Oh and thank Him also for the luck I had in finding a matching clutch to my chelsea boots, from two different stores!

I'm in a bit of a hurry now, see you later! x

Turtleneck - Zara // Faux Leather (Polipele) Long Sleeve Shirt - Zara // Skirt-Trousers - Zara // Boots - Dr. Martens // Earrings - Parfois

Finally, I'm trying to edit and work with Photoshop! Basic stuff, I know, but we have to start somewhere and somehow, am I right? And this pictures really needed some kind of touch, since they ended up a bit bad (I was running out of time, light and battery!! ugh). I think I found a way to kind of enhance them while staying truthful to my aesthetics. This outfit needed some proper pictures, after all this long sleeve shirt creates a great visual impact and texture along with the Givenchy-ish skirt-trousers! The Docs (hereare just the final leather touch to a monochromatic, boyish and strict outfit, balanced with the fluidity of the skirt/ trousers/ whatever.
Is it a skirt or a pair of trousers? Ambiguous, to say the least.

Coat - Uterque // Sweater - Oysho // Chinos - Zara // Boots - Thrifted // Ring - Calvin Klein

This Snow White was offered many poisoned apples today at school, nothing she isn't already used to! "Same shit different day" and people still find it strange to dress the way I do. Luckily Snow White has seven dwarfs and a Prince to support her. And you know what? Snow White is actually a true minimalist, she even has a glass coffin!
So don't attempt to hurt her through a mirror, it's simply pathetic, say it to her face. But remember, the Queen always loses to Snow White, because of lack of humility.

Coat - Uterque // Jumper - Thrifted // Skirt - ZARA // Boots - Thrifted

You may not believe it, but I bought this pair of square front leather boots at the last flea market for only 3,50€. Plus they're beyond comfortable and brand new! Unbelievable right? Lucky me, I guess!
Oh and now you might be wondering why "Colour" Blocking and the answer is: there's only one colour in this geometric design (which btw. reminds me of a minimal Tetris). A deep blue is the chosen one, paired with my all time favourite "colours": black and white.

Hope you liked it!
